Barcode inventory
Products carry individual barcodes. Stock quantity, barcode count and remaining slots are visible. PATCH /api/products/{id}/quantity and POST /api/products/{id}/barcodes keep history clean.
QR tickets & gate scan
Events have ticket classes, sold quantity and checked-in totals. Buyers keep QR tickets in My Tickets. Workers verify via scan at the gate — the ledger never double-counts capacity.
Cart, checkout & collection
Tuck-shop exposure, cart, purchase and collection QR. Transactions support SELL (barcodes required) vs BUY (no barcodes) and CASH/SWIPE_MACHINE/WEBSITE_PAYMENT with paymentUrl and referenceEmail.
Job opportunities
Businesses publish roles with workplace, employment and experience levels. Users apply with CV URL, owners review status SUBMITTED → REVIEWING → SHORTLISTED → ACCEPTED.
Worker tips & payouts
Workers expose tip QR, buyers tip via tipAmount + callbackUrl. Owners review gross/fee/net. Withdrawals for transactions or tips show status and audit timestamps.
Affiliate referrals & promotions
Affiliates get referral code, promotion link and QR. Promotions target audience + channel with quote (targetCount, bulkPrice) before sending. Referrals and commissions stay visible.

Our user dashboard integrates South Africa's Department of Employment and Labour UIF Online service. Users can verify benefit history via 13-digit SA ID and request secure UIF Online password updates under strict POPIA data privacy controls.

Under POPIA principles, 13-digit SA ID numbers and credentials are processed strictly in-memory or via secure encrypted backend channels. Personal identifiers are never sold, cached inappropriately, or misused.

Inventory summary, alcohol movement, product movement and audit logs are read from GET /api/reports/* and GET /api/audit-logs. Totals are never synthesized in the browser. If the backend doesn't return it, the UI shows an empty state — not a fake chart.
